Pros

-Pretty good insurance plan; much better coverage than my current plan at work -Extra out of the norm benefits like product checks, a gym, valet service, an cafeteria.

Cons

-Honestly, I would take the overall rating and all of the 5 star ratings with a healthy dose of salt. When I worked there the company was well aware of their public issues and tried to "correct" the problems. They aren't above having HR fill out reviews to boost their results to attract candidates. -The pay is very low; in spite of being ranked a top performer and having very specific salary conversations with HR and my manager I never received decent compensation. A "great" raise is considered to be 3% of your current salary. I know many families that are in salaried positions at Melaleuca that are on hardship because they can't pay back their student loans or are on food stamps. Salaries start off as little as 31k; less than a school teacher without the summer vacation. -If you are a designer or event planner you WILL get roped in to working for the Idaho Republican Party at Frank's command (designing fliers, handouts, setting up tables, decorating etc.). It won't be optional, you'll still have your actual work to do on top of this other project, and you will not be able to refuse. Not very ethical, Frank. When these concerns were addressed to him in an anonymous survey he told the entire company, "Get with the times, everyone is involved with politics."

Pros

Great to work for, the people are kind and willing to help you with any problem you run into.

Cons

They're stingy with promotions and probably won't utilize you to your fullest capacity

Pros

- side benefits are okay - it is a median sort of job - I personally have some freedom do to personal professional development on the clock when there is no immediate need for my work (happens very little) - People half listen once they know you have been at Melaleuca after about 5 years

Cons

- No management that knows what they are doing - Not very customer-focused - Don't seek to fulfill their strategic imperatives or strategies or mission - Very hard for people to listen to you because you're new - They don't have a lot of integrity - Very slow to solve problems - Don't worry about making improvements in processes or tools we use - Slow AI usage and no proficiency in AI usage, strategies or implementation - Managers micromanage because Melaleuca is "unique" - Most of the positive things they tout all the time serves only the company's image, not the employees - Don't worry about giving raises in a timely manner - Not goal-oriented employer And I could probably keep going, but will stop here.
