Pros

I started in the call center about 15 years ago. It began as a college job but I quickly realized the potential as I saw how fast the company was growing. I believe in working hard, having fun, and getting results. And the best part is we're really making a difference in the lives of our customers. In my 15+ years I've been in 12 different positions, many different departments, have traveled throughout the US and the world. It's almost surreal to think how a small-town family has had so many incredible experiences across the globe. This has never felt like a "just a job" to me - partially because I've never been treated like "just an employee." Melaleuca has become a huge part of my life and my family's. My kids see what it has provided for us, how great the products are, and how great the company is - and they say they want to work there someday too. My family often meets me for lunch in our cafeteria and the kids love to play in the game room. It's more than just a job to me, it's part of my legacy. And I'm surrounded by an awesome team who is passionate about excellence, improvement, and a commitment to enhancing lives.

Cons

Melaleuca has high standards. To play on an All-Star team, you have to give it your all. Some people don't like that. If you're looking to do the bare minimum, punch a clock and get a check, Melaleuca isn't the place for you. If you'd like to be a part of a mission-driven company, in a fast-paced and challenging environment, then you'll fit in.

Pros

Great to work for, the people are kind and willing to help you with any problem you run into.

Cons

They're stingy with promotions and probably won't utilize you to your fullest capacity

Pros

- side benefits are okay - it is a median sort of job - I personally have some freedom do to personal professional development on the clock when there is no immediate need for my work (happens very little) - People half listen once they know you have been at Melaleuca after about 5 years

Cons

- No management that knows what they are doing - Not very customer-focused - Don't seek to fulfill their strategic imperatives or strategies or mission - Very hard for people to listen to you because you're new - They don't have a lot of integrity - Very slow to solve problems - Don't worry about making improvements in processes or tools we use - Slow AI usage and no proficiency in AI usage, strategies or implementation - Managers micromanage because Melaleuca is "unique" - Most of the positive things they tout all the time serves only the company's image, not the employees - Don't worry about giving raises in a timely manner - Not goal-oriented employer And I could probably keep going, but will stop here.
