Pros

Learn a lot of information about the lighting industry and the opportunities it provides. training although unconventional at times, was highly effective and provided a wonderful foundation for working in B2B Sales, Enterprise Sales, Event Sales. Travel opportunities are frequent (AR, NC, SC, HI)The more you sell, the more territories you gain. There was a lot of potential for internal growth and upwards mobility for top performers. You will have a multifaceted position in any department you work in, it’s a small company but growing quickly and bonuses/incentives normally reflected that. Hard work was rewarded. Sales competitions usually had great prizes/incentives as well. You’ll work with fun people, you’re in sales so that should be expected.

Cons

Necessary traveling could be unexpected or dealt out in short notice. Commission structure was in the works of being fully established when I had to leave, but at the time it was too loosely defined.
