Pros

I honestly cannot think of a single pro during my employment.

Cons

There is ZERO training No true management No pricing/inventory structure You are expected to sell inventory that is from the late 90s and early 2000s. In a time were technology out dates itself by the end of each quarter. Good luck selling anything to anyone who knows better. You will be constantly worrying about your job because the owner expects you to be a miracle worker. The owner has no concept of marketing. Who, is also afraid of change and is a hoarder. The single tech who is working is well over worked and does way more than their job title. Each person there does. Example, everyone at MegaWatts has a manager title...

This is obviously a disgruntled employee who was fired (funny how he does not put his name here). He worked for us less than 1 month and yet has the experience and knowledge to give advice on how to run a business. His lackadaisical attitude contributed to many errors . We gave him a chance although his work record was poor. It was a mistake. We have been in business since 1995 and will continue to grow. We are NOT your typical computer store. In 2018 we had sales over $1.2M and are continually diversifying and changing in order to adapt to the changing environment. Pros

Honestly, I'm looking for something nice to say, but I've got nothing

Cons

Worst working environment imaginable, Constant rotation of new techs in and out the door. The owner would mirror all of my screens on his desktop to ensure employees weren't checking email to get another job. The biggest jerk I've ever come in contact with. I was warned the first day to make sure I had a written copy of my hourly pay. I was warned that some past employees didn't get this and found their first paycheck dropped to min wage. The owner has cams everywhere watching everyone work. These aren't security cam's they're specifically to monitor the employees working both in the office and remotely. The owner went through the employee's tool bags while we were at lunch to ensure were went stealing from the store. I know what it would be like to live in North Korea after working in this constantly monitored environment. Duties would change daily, systems repair one day. unloading a 1-ton pallet the next. Tornados, Ice storms, hail, whatever is going on if you look outside this will get the owner almost immediately walking over and asking what are you doing, I heard an employee say "I'm trying to figure out how to get home to my family". This was met with a blank reply of "O.K. lets get back to work". He made employees clock out to use the restroom. It was the most dysfunctional environment I've ever worked in.
