Pros

I really think that this company does a great job with being flexible. Being a scribe is is such and informative job to have and you can really learn a lot about health care. They are very understanding and helpful with anything that you may need. Management and employees are very friendly and efficient with communication.

Cons

I feel like there aren’t that many cons to working with this company, it all depends on provider placement and willing to take time to learn and correct your mistakes.

Pros

This was such a great opportunity. I loved working in the clinic, although some of the physicians that I worked with were not pleasant. My typing skills and medical knowledge flourished.

Cons

NO BENEFITS. This is a healthcare company that doesn't offer health insurance??? Management can be very removed. There is very little control over schedules. Physicians will often have bad days and blame it on the scribes, which can create a nasty work environment if MedOptim's management doesn't stand up for their scribes or put them with kinder physicians. If a physicians behavior is terrible, they just find a scribe to torture and put up with it instead of denying scribe service to that physician. Not much room for growth.
