Pros

I worked at Medical Shipment for almost five years, and to this day it has played a huge role in shaping me into the salesperson I am today. The earning potential is truly unlimited for those willing to put in the work. If you're coming out of college or looking for an opportunity to build a successful sales career while making great money, Medical Shipment is an excellent place to start. Dan personally takes an interest in developing his team and will take you under his wing, giving you the chance to learn firsthand what it takes to be successful in sales. One of the things I appreciated most was the opportunity to travel throughout my territory, build relationships with customers, and experience events and activities that went far beyond a typical office job. Those experiences, both professionally and personally, are something I still miss today. Even now, I stay in contact with Dan. He has been a mentor throughout my career and is always willing to help whenever I reach out. That kind of leadership and genuine investment in people is rare. My advice to anyone joining the team is simple: work hard, stay consistent, and trust the process. If you do, you'll find incredible opportunities for personal and professional growth, along with the chance to earn some amazing commission checks along the way.

Cons

I had a long commute

Pros

Fast paced, always open to changes and suggestions, frequent meetings and communication between departments, competitive service offering that is easy to sell. Ownership is very active in the business and always available. YoY growth.

Cons

In sales you must have thick skin, sales roles can seem sink or swim, runway is 6 months, but those who succeed are very content and have great earnings as commissions are uncapped, even residuals. Stay the course, excuse-making won't be welcome, which can offend those that are easily offended. New implementations can take a back seat as priority changes are common. But this seems par for the course for a young growing company.
