Pros

Some of the people are great.

Cons

The downside to this great workplace is that if you are a new sales agent you don't have the opportunity to succeed. They show you in the preliminary interview the commission of a few people and make it seem like "you can do this too”; when in all reality they don't give everyone the same opportunity. Each month for the past 6 months the same three to four agents are the top leaders and receive incentives. This would only be acceptable if everyone received the same amount of inbound calls and leads. I can recall a situation when I made a few rookie mistakes and was threatened and told my leads would and inbound calls would be cutoff if it continues to happen. The confusing part about this is that the job is commission based only and ultimately you make little to no money if that does happen. I have noticed they don't hesitate to use a few unprofessional threats to get you back on track. In addition to all of this the culture amongst the Sales Agents is not the best. Myself as well as others have lost multiple sales to other Sales Agents who lie when a client calls back and asks for the original person they have spoke with. The lies range from; they are no longer with the company, they told me to help you once you called back in, or they never notify you have someone calling for you and most times you may be five feet away. The management is not the best and there are a number of Sales agents who doubt that management is able to perform the same job we get criticized for. I also noticed how unfair it is for some of the agents due to the call volume. The shift I work there are about 30-40 inbound calls and majority of the time if you are not one of the four top agents you will never see that call volume and as a result you lose money. I came to this company last year thinking this was going to be a great opportunity, but I now see that if you're not selected to be put in position to succeed then it will never happen. If you like working for a company that gives the illusion of a great work place then come on and join us!

Pros

I joined Medical Guardian after spending 17 years with the same company, so starting over in a new role was both exciting and a little intimidating. Looking back, it was one of the best decisions I've made. From day one, the support I received has been exceptional. The onboarding process was smooth, leadership is approachable and accessible, and there is a genuine culture of collaboration. In my many years in the workforce, I can honestly say I've never worked with a more supportive group of people. Everyone is willing to help, share knowledge, and work together. It's an environment where employees are respected, valued, and encouraged to grow. Most importantly, I enjoy coming to work each day and feel proud of the impact we're making. I don't typically write reviews, so when I do, it's because I stand behind what I'm saying. If you're looking for a company that is inclusive, supportive, mission-driven, and genuinely values its employees, Medical Guardian is a wonderful place to build a career.

Cons

Pros

Break room was pretty well stocked when I was employed there.

Cons

Very stressful environment. Lack of training for all positions which was then further compounded upon by the implementation of a new system which backed up the workload by 2 weeks and management made the mandatory overtime call even though the system still wasn't running well most of the workday. Employees blamed for the issues of the new system by the warehouse manager and we were regularly told that messages had to through 4 people before any issues were addressed by the onsite IT team that was actively working to iron out issues. The quickest fixes were implemented when IT came out of the conference room to ask us directly what the problems were yet management wanted everyone to go through them even though it led to a massive waste of time.
