Pros

they hire great people but that does not equate to great culture. their onboarding week is phenomenal good pay always opportunities to step out of your comfort zone.

Cons

Awkwardly authoritative stifling decision making process, everyone needs to be included in the process and in the end the most senior person involved gets to decide. This also does not make you feel very empowered. Too many inexperienced people have become people managers, it shows. For example I announced that I would like to use my paternity leave and immediately my manager told me I should not take all of it. This is not a good company culture. It sounds like they want to explain away all problems with "growth mind set". Reorgs have not only changed the organisation but job descriptions too, you could be doing a completely different job the next day, this is not a good company culture. Many employees feel like they are not doing what they signed up for, for example analysts do not analyze anything, they are system admins that figure out how to deal with a fickle system. Engagement managers are mostly 20% project managers 80% system admins, really more like a Customer Success Engineer. This is not a good company culture.

Thank you for your feedback. I was really upset to hear about your experience with parental leave. If you're willing to share, I would love to learn more about it. As a mother of three, I understand how important it is to spend time with your family, especially when you have a new baby. In March, we increased our parental leave to be 6 weeks at 100% pay. No parent should be dissuaded from spending the maximum amount of time with his or her newborn. In terms of decision making process, I agree we have room to improve there. Sometimes our collaborative culture can morph into consensus-based decision-making (which we don’t support). Again, if you’re open to sharing your specific experience with me, I would love to hear it. We are always trying to get better. In terms of inexperienced managers, we do try to promote people internally whenever possible and support them with robust training curriculums that prepare them for their new roles. We’ve put a special emphasis on leadership training. I'd love to learn more about which orgs you see particularly affected by inexperienced management so that we can better address it. Please reach out to me directly! Again, thank you for your feedback. I see that you are no longer here so I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors. -A
