Pros

Flexible schedule after 90 days of employment. Somewhat friendly environment. There's easy parking & lunch delivery. Gym access. No one watching your every move.

Cons

Changes daily to suit the ones they like. So much talk about don't do this or that and people do pretty much just what they want. Training, if that's what you want to call it, needs restructuring.

Pros

The salary is pretty much the only pro of working for PMAB. You start at 12.00/hr as a collector and after you are able to prove you can collect medical debt you will be promoted to a Senior Collector which is 14.00/hr. As a collector and Senior Collector you have an opportunity to get a bonus on top of your hourly wage. The average Senior Collector will bring home around 1000.00 in bonus each month. Top collectors bring home around 3000.00 bonus and very few collectors don't bonus.

Cons

There are hundreds of issues with this company and now that the company is "growing" they have doubled the collectors on the floor which means it is incredibly harder to collect money. Every collector is making less money than they did a year ago yet the owners are making more money. So soon the company is going to start losing all its top collectors as they will not stay at PMAB to not make less money. This company does not promote from within. Since I have worked here there has been 5 promotions and only 1 has come within the company. 4 of the positions they have hired outside the company. They do not advertise that they are promoting they just pick someone and don't allow others to interview. So you can not grow in this company. AND if you do get promoted, as a collector you take a paycut to become a supervisor. Crazy. The company does not believe in technology. We do not have email or internet browser. We use CRS which is a VERY old system from the 80's. We have no tools to collect debts. So all you have is your talk off. It is cheaper to get health insurance outside of the company than with the company. They only pay towards your health insurance after you have been with the company for 10 YEARS. You have to work till 8pm. Not a huge issue but still inconvenient to work till 8pm one day a week. Many Many more issues...
