      Pros

      It is nice to take care of a population that is really in need, and genuinely appreciative of the efforts that you put forth.

      Cons

      The nursing administration seem to have no idea what they are doing. There is constant confusion and they protect each other while throwing clinical employees under the bus.

      Pros

      Encouraging learning environment for new APP's. Administration is always available when needed. Great starting pay and benefits. The culture is patient-centered while showing respect and encouraging growth and development of APP's. I love my career with McLeod Health.

      Cons

      It can take time to develop a full patient load, but that was just my experience as a new APP. I appreciate the time I have been allowed to grow in my new role.
