Pros

Remote work is nice, a lot of hybrid roles too.

Cons

They dont respect their employees at all. Every mistake, even ones on other teams, is blown out of proportion. The attorneys are never happy no matter how many improvements are made. Anna is a bully - definitely do not work with her if you can help it. Their entire computer system is so disorganized, the training is confusing and outdated, and if you try to improve anything you will get pushback because its seen as a waste of time. That is if you even have time for that, because they sure don't want to hire enough people to actually manage things successfully. If you dont immediately bow down to upper management in every argument, expect to get harassed out. They dont pay nearly enough for the amount of work and raises are now pitiful. The management acts like you should be grateful they even let you work here.

Pros

Coworkers (not supervisors) are great. Flexible hours.

Cons

Awful raises/pay compared to other firms. You could be an above average employee and receive less than a dollar in your annual review for no specific reason at all. For a “prestigious” law firm, you’d think they would be able to pay their hard working staff a respectful rate/salary. Serious lack of quality management. Employees truly are treated as nothing but a number. Reviews are copy and pasted - they do not care about any employees as individual human beings. Favoritism towards supervisors/employees who have stayed with the company for a while. Tasks/responsibilities not delegated equally/equitably amongst team members. Lack of appreciation from Partners on every level. Partners are known to berate employees for small mistakes - occasionally in front of other team members in Zoom meetings. Partners/management ignore any complaints and/or suggestions made by employees. Lack of transparency and communication around expectations. Offer benefits but the insurance is worse than finding obtaining insurance on your own independently. Virtually no room for growth - they’ll make empty promises, though.
