Pros

peaceful and welcoming atmosphere, a lot of collaboration, great coworkers, strong leadership, no micromanaging, stocked kitchen, great office location, employees are encouraged and inspired as well as greatly rewarded for accomplishments

Cons

No real cons. Most work is done in the office with the team so working remote is rare.

Pros

While my time at McCarthy Cook was short lived, I can not say enough good things about this company. MCC is the best employer I've ever worked for. They are polite, professional, respectful and courteous. They are a joy to be around - the owners and C-Suite are the most caring individuals. I'm sad to have to part ways with them and wish I could work here forever. This company is A+++. If you are given the opportunity to work with them - YOU ARE LUCKY! You'll never want to leave.

Cons

None really. its not the latest firm, but that's what provides the family vibes

Pros

The Team: I had the opportunity to collaborate with the Corporate team and The MET Costa Mesa asset management team on a daily basis. Each team member is passionate and genuinely cares not only about your well being and personal achievements, but your family’s as well! The Culture: McCarthy Cook (MCC) is one big family! The team works hard together, laughs together, celebrates together, and most importantly supports one another, together. Similar to most families, the entire MCC team gathers together a few times a year for special occasions such as retreats and holiday events. The Corporate office environment is very open inviting you to collaborate with team members, and easily receive feedback from the Co-Presidents. In addition, the office has fun perks such as a dart board and shuffle board! The Opportunity: One thing about MCC that I admire is that the company strives to incorporate what you’re passionate about into your role, thus allowing you to wear many hats. For example, my background is in interior design, and it is very much my passion. With this, I was given the privilege to work on renovation projects involving some of the best architectural firms and designers in Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego, while also working with MCC asset managers to design assigned spaces.

Cons

You are not able to work remotely.
