Pros

Great view of river and nice facility. Most people in the middle of the organization are competent and good to work with. The business has a good history but needs changes at the top and a complete overhaul of product development and the organizational structure.

Cons

No communication or strategy from top leaders. The CEO has a borderline toxic personality and creates policies to dis-engage employees. Terrible benefits and most people are paid well below market. The good people are leaving weekly and many that are still there are actively looking for a better company and leader to work for. The product development process is non-existent and consistently leads to poorly designed products, a mountain of quality issues and rework primarily from the Chinese suppliers. People are rarely recognized or rewarded for good work and policies are "old school" and punitive towards employees. Much of the recent success was created by departed employees and one time cost cutting measures which won't be sustainable.

Pros

Awesome and under-appreciated production staff.

Cons

For lack of vision and competent strategists, the company flounders. The culture is elitist, and management endorses this. Short-sightedness appears to make them look desperate. In their desperation, they've laid off entire departments and shifts, looking to cut every penny they can - but not the right pennies. They are starving, but rather than invest in their garden, they are just going to eat it all up and throw away any seed that is left.
