Pros
- Young but specialised leadership team, & driven but approachable founders.
- Genuinely community focused and this is at the heart of all decisions - customer and mission come first
- Autonomy is important & everyone has the ability to weigh in on decisions, deliver their work in whatever way suits them + provide flexibility for parents.
-KPIs, targets, operations, decisions in general, strategy, product development etc are always well-thought out and consider the company holistically before making a call. Always involves identifying a goal, getting the relevant and necessary information (always metic heavy/measurable - sometimes forgoing pace but I think the pro outweighs the con here), and weighing up the alternatives in order to make decisions. Sounds simple but have seen corners cut to move faster elsewhere to great detriment.
Cons
- Company still figuring trajectory out in some cases/rev streams which can mean we pivot more often than ideal, but feel it's nature of a start-up and the times we live in (looking at you COVID)
