Pros
- Probably for entry level interior designers to gain experience - not much long hours
Cons
I'm surprised this company is still operating. Last time I heard they went bankrupt, closed down their main office, and ran their business under a different legal name at their warehouse in Richmond Hill. This company indeed moved a few times, downsized significantly over a few years. I can't tell why people still work for this company. When I worked there it was proven to be a complete disaster. They started firing people for no apparent reason and forced other employees to take on more duties irrelevant to their positions. Since the management was not very transparent about their financial status, no one knew what was going on, and there was high level of anxiety about who's going to go next. It has become more and more clear they are having problems when there was no more major jobs coming in and more people were let go. In terms of culture it wasn't quite healthy. Some staff in sales, admin, etc. were very unprofessional and gossipy and the management displayed favoritism.
