Pros

Some of the other employees were acceptable. Monthly provided catered lunches were nice.

Cons

Rumors spread quick around that particular office. Management was rude and biased. Discrimination was popular and you would be advised to not fight back or start anything without risk of being terminated. Company unwilling to work with idividuals who qualify for FMLA. Best to just keep to yourself and not talk to anyone and never leave your cubicle. Oh, and don't expect a promotion. ever.

Remote, adequate training and guidance and usually everything /software works - minus regular hiccups.

Cons

Not too many - a few misunderstanding s about training classes and roles but overall, not bad.

Pros

Had a few really exceptional coworkers

Cons

One reason I was hired was to bring in new ideas and work approaches; however, when I tried implementing anything new, some of the “old school higher-ups” would balk and were never open to anything new or better. My management just looked the other way and didn’t support me. As for training, I wasn’t offered much in the way of onboarding other than being told to read a lengthy “standard operating procedures” document. No real opportunities were offered to shadow anyone so I could learn in real-time. A typical work week was 60+ hours and often stretched to 70+. It was exhausting and demoralizing. The job was not sustainable and I’ve never been more relieved to be done with a place. I cannot recommend Maximus as a place to grow your skills or to give your time. Turnover seems to be relatively high at Maximus and there are far better places to work.
