      Pros

      Pride, simply put. Matson provides a needed service to the communities it serves, and it does it effectively and ethically. Additionally, Matson is a huge supporter of non-profits and the community in general. The benefits are great quality, varied and plentiful, I am very grateful for the opportunity to provide for my family while working at this company.

      Some days can be stressful, but that's just part of being an adult

      Great benefits if that's all you care about.

      Cons

      Bullying is brushed off as personality differences. Favoritism and butt kissing is the only way to survive or get ahead. They offer lots of leave and cover medical leave 100% of pay so people abuse the time off policies. Leadership will spend up to 50% of their day whispering in dark corners with their favorite employees. Management ignores all the toxicity. No wonder good people leave and they are left with the people who only care about the benefits and how much they can abuse them.
