While my time at Matic has had its positives, there are some significant downsides that impacted my experience. One of the biggest issues has been the management. Unfortunately, the leadership doesn’t always provide clear direction or support. There’s often a lack of constructive feedback, which makes it difficult to know if I’m meeting expectations or where I can improve. It can feel like you’re left to figure things out on your own without much guidance.
Another issue is the lack of recognition and feedback. When you’re working hard, it can be demotivating not to receive any acknowledgment or constructive criticism. Without regular feedback, it’s hard to grow in your role or understand what you’re doing right or wrong. It’s clear that they don’t always have a firm grasp on what’s going on, and that has created a lot of confusion and misdirection. It often feels like decisions are made without a clear understanding of the consequences, which leads to disorganization and, at times, unnecessary stress for the team.
The mismanagement and lack of proper guidance make it hard to stay focused, and the pressure often feels overwhelming. There’s little support in terms of feedback or direction, which makes it difficult to know whether I’m on the right track. It’s exhausting trying to work under those conditions, especially when it feels like management doesn’t fully understand the workload or challenges their team is facing.
