      Pros

      Connecting with students, helping them understand math, improving families' home lives because of reduced math-related stress

      Cons

      Low pay, unpredictable hours, being required to devote time outside of work hours to the company. You are assigned an abundance of tasks, which are not able to be completed within your scheduled hours. If you stay a few minutes later to finish your task, your pay is cut so that "we aren't over payroll."

      They were very clearly on their worksheets and the instructions are easy to follow

      Pros

      Flexible hours that I could choose, nice working space. My boss was nice and very reasonable. Pay was decent after I completed some certifications. When the teaching was effective it was pretty rewarding and it can be fun to talk to the kids.

      Cons

      It was honestly a very tiring job. The kids can get really rowdy and difficult to manage, especially if you have to teach three at the same time. Management required us to use tablets and a finicky platform for worksheets that was not helpful and forced me to further split my attention.
