Pros

This position is basically a retail sales position for furniture that is great for anybody who is looking to build experience. They take the time to train you and do their best to help you succeed. It is not easy selling furniture and you get what you put in. They had no limit to the amount of hours you could work, so I got great overtime pay. They have a draw against commission pay structure, so you have to sell a certain amount to receive a commission check. It was my first sales job and I learned a lot, anybody who is willing to put in the work can be successful here.

Cons

Difficult to reach quota some months, and it can be difficult to get customers depending on how busy the store is. Weekends are required and you will most likely spend more than 40 hours a week there.

Pros

There are many opportunities to explore projects beyond a defined job description, which allows for growth and learning across departments. Coworkers are collaborative and supportive, and leadership is approachable and friendly. The business is family-oriented and generally supportive of work-life balance, understanding that some roles experience busier seasons than others. Opportunities to travel and collaborate with multiple teams add variety to the work. Benefits include solid PTO (15 days in the first year, 20 days thereafter and continued increases with longevity), a 401(k) match, HSA, and access to an onsite gym at the Oklahoma City corporate office ($20/month)

Cons

At times, policies and business decisions may feel conservative or rooted in more traditional practices, which can be challenging for those seeking faster innovation or change. The health insurance offerings could be more competitive.
