Pros
As a student ambassador, I was able to utilise MatcHub’s resources in finding out more about my interests and strengths through the personality test. Concrete tips on how I can ace my interview and manage professionalism at the workplace have also enabled me to better understand how the world of work is like, and hence take proactive steps to prepare for the future workforce. All in all, my experience in MatcHub has been nothing short of fruitful so far and I look forward to having more takeaways from my ambassadorship.
Cons
I have not been able to participate in any virtual / on-site events since I entered MatcHub as a student ambassador. On one hand, it could be due to Covid-19 restrictions still in place, but I hope that I am able to participate in career fairs / dialogues more frequently in future as these programmes are the ones that truly expose us to the world of work.
