Pros
The complexity of the systems in place are a challenge - great for those who have a willingness to learn. They also put out a great product.
Cons
When the recession hit both markets (Canada & US), Most of the executive team was escorted out of the building, then out of work executives and plant managers from the US came in, which was very bad for morale, helping to intensify several quality issues I am sure. The best part was that first they announced no raises (understandable), then a month or so later they announced that everyone's wages would be subject to a decrease due to the diligent cost cutting required to keep the company viable. The week after that announcement the company flew in a bunch of executives on the corporate jet to check out the plant, and upon hiring a new plant manager, bought him an Audi Q7 as a bonus. Very reactionary culture of overworking people until they quit.
