There are, like in every company, some amazing people who work hard and try their best. (None of them in management positions.)
Cons
By far the most toxic, unhealthy and high-school mentality type workplace I have ever worked. Management is abysmal, they do not manage people at all. Human Resources is a joke. The departments are combative instead of co-operative. Each day is a battle instead of team work to improve the quality of the business (which is slipping fast). No advancement opportunities as the organization built as an old boys club (women, don't even think about trying to get ahead). Favouritism is rampant. Just some boys with their toys in the sandbox. Engineering is a dead end place, where new talents are not challenged or appreciated. Extremely high turnover. Company motto is that they have never laid off anyone in 25 years due to economic downturn, that's because they dismiss without just cause (legal in Alberta).
