The team is really supportive and collaborative. The firm hires smart people who are humble, down to earth and genuinely a pleasure to work. What stands out most is the level of trust and responsibility they give the recruitment consultants. You aren’t micro managed and you get a lot of autonomy. It’s an enjoyable place to work and a firm that does business the right way and operate with integrity.

Recruitment is a rewarding but tough job. The hours can be long especially during busy periods. Clients are high calibre but demanding so you need to be resilient and adaptable. Rejection is a constant in the recruitment industry so thick skin is a must!

- You're pushed just the right amount to succeed - nobody is breathing down your neck 24/7 but you have targets and your performance is monitored closely - They do pay for external recruitment-focused courses - They make an effort to teach you about the asset management industry

- There could be more in the way of relationship management training - I didn't find I had enough dedicated 1:1 time with my manager - I could ask quick questions but would have benefitted from allocated time to go through queries, challenges etc
