Pros

Newly built manufacturing and office space. Benefit costs are reasonable, annual profit sharing for all employees, 401k match. Option to work from home.

Cons

Former CEO retired in 2021 and unfortunately current upper management doesn't have the skills to lead the company out of the hole they're in. - Production still doesn't have all the kinks worked out after being in the new facility for 18 months. - Turnover has been huge in the past 12 months, with the head of accounting, the entire purchasing/supply chain department, most of engineering, VP's of Sales and Marketing and the Quality groups leaving. There is almost no one with deep company knowledge left - except upper management and they are floundering. Anyone who hasn't left is either looking for a new job or taking advantage of work from home with little oversite. This was a fantastic company, but they've lost their way and aren't doing anything different to improve the situation. Unless someone new comes in at the top level of management, it's not going to get better. They don't keep up with the market salary levels either.

Fantastic! Work-life balance was great.

Cons

Upper level management could be wishy-washy on decision making.

Pros

Good benefits, company values, and employees are considered when big decisions are made. There's opportunities for labor share and travel to other locations. It is family owned and while we don't see them often, they make you feel seen and that you matter. There's a nurse who is easy to talk to and actually cares. There have been a lot of changes in HR but its for the better. Lots of opportunities to learn new things and grow. We also got a new parking lot which was much needed since the plant has grown.

Cons

Mandatory overtime on Saturdays, but has gotten better. Not much visibility from the safety department on second and third shift unless its early afternoon on second shift - or - the last couple hours on third shift. There's four safety specialists here and they all mostly work during business hours, so unless you catch them before they leave its difficult to address anything. There's a safety committee but it can be difficult to get an actual person from the safety department because of their working hours.
