Pros
Great cafeteria with subsidized prices that are nice, as well as other on-site benefits that make it really easy to never leave campus. I do enjoy the on-site gym and dry cleaning services, but if I wanted, I could also get my car's oil changed, hair cuts and basic dental work completed on campus.
Cons
I've been here for more than 5 years, so I have the added benefit of additional vacation time. Other than that, there are no other 'perks' or incentive for being a long-timer. The equity is lacking, at least in the G&A function that I occupy. Big money being an engineer, but other internal supportive groups do not get any type of respect or acknowledgement. If anything, we are made to feel that we are just $ suckers and take away from their profit. Really? And if this is the feeling from the top, what type of support do the heads of these G&A function get? Enough said.
