Friendly atmosphere: Marvell Switzerland has a nice, cooperative and friendly atmosphere. Technical excellence: lots of engineers are very bright and it is a pleasure to work with them. Good management: managers are competent technically and care about their teams. They always find time for discussion if needed. Global projects: most projects have a global scale, R&D teams are between US, Asia and Europe. Customers are also global (depends on projects).
Cons
CEO scatters resources and doesn't trust his own top management. Lack of strategic vision: every project suggested by top management is accepted by CEO and then under-funded, compromising its success and demotivating its engineers. Irrealistic deadlines.
