Pros

Summer off, holiday's off, vacation and sick days. Same schedule as your children.

Cons

The pay is stretched out so you are paid over the summer too and it just makes your pay checks very small.

Cons

They’ll try to take away holidays if there’s a hurricane . Leaving your to have to get a baby sitter you already can’t afford . If you don’t work a full school year they will cut your pay. I started 4 months into the school year they offered me 23,500 as an LPN You have to pay for your own drug screen and back ground As a nurse you have all liability, & you can’t even thoroughly assess your patient . You can’t legally even take a blood pressure
