Cons
You can't SIT! EVER! One of Marriott's goofy standards is that front desk people must stand at all times. Normally you work alone so forget taking a decent break. Forget breaks completely. They don't exist, because with Marriott you are a ROBOT who must only do one thing, SMILE, and STAND. The standing standard sends people running because who the heck wants to stand for eight hours straight with your only sitting breaks being bathroom breaks. Since most Marriott properties are short staffed you won't get a break, EVER.
