Not as good as it seems - Marketing Specialist Marquee Insurance Group Employee Review

Pros

Great people to work with and a lot of knowledge about the trucking industry

Cons

Will lay you off and tell you your position is terminated due to restructuring but really the company is hurting for money. No work from home days so don’t pay attention to the job posting. Over worked and underpaid is the Marquee motto. Lack of an employee centric vibe, you are a number here and just a blip on managements radar. Used to be great until they laid off 20 people right before Christmas and then posted job listings to try and make up for the people lost. No real goals or promotions given and no true commission structure for departments other than sales. Only people who are Bffs with management get promotions and it doesn’t really matter how hard you work. I’d skip over this job as there are way better opportunities out there and this will not be a long term career for someone new.

Pros

I’ve been with Marquee Insurance Group for over a year now, and it’s been a fantastic experience. As a member of the Renewal Team, I’ve had the chance to work alongside a talented group of people who are genuinely committed to success and teamwork. The leadership team is supportive, and there’s always room to grow and develop new skills. MIG offers a positive, fast-paced work environment with plenty of opportunities to contribute and make an impact. I’ve also appreciated how the company values innovation, especially with the recent leadership changes - no two better people to lead MIG! Overall, I’m excited to be part of a company that values its employees and is always pushing to improve.

Cons

While the company offers great opportunities, the fast-paced environment can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially during peak times. The workload can be intense, and there’s often a lot to juggle, which might be challenging for those who prefer a slower pace. However, this also speaks to the company’s growth and success, so it’s a double-edged sword.
