Pros

Nice furniture. Some good people among the many questionable hires. The rare chance to do good work--when the very political hierarchy lets you.

Cons

On the surface, everything seems fine. BUT. Deteriorating creative product, since many of the really good people fled. A real undercurrent of ruthlessness. Survival depends upon who you know and who you flatter. Few other opportunities in town. Some very questionable episodes of dealings with employees.

Pros

The people. The environment holds to a family oriented atmosphere in certain departments throughout the network.

Cons

Once you're locked in to a salary, there's no negotiating into a respectable pay when trying to move up in the company. Bonuses primarily go to upper management. The company leaders lack true transparency, and seem to think that employees are the problem for the massive turnover rate in the past 2 years. Morale is at an all time low, and you'll likely work with teams who hate their job. You'll work late nights and occasional weekends to meet deadlines, because no one has the balls to collaborate with clients on better scheduling. It's all about keeping the clients happy, because the company has to meet it's number, and losing a client would cause another layoff. Lastly, if you think you have a career path here, good luck. It's a snails race. You'll be told of a promotion or raise, but it won't happen for months because, "I put it in the system, but haven't heard back". 6 months down the road, and you'll still be waiting.
