Pros

Pay is good but doesn't come on time every month.

Cons

As a Business Development Executive (BDE) at Markup Designs, my experience was terrible. Here’s why: 1- No Flexibility & Strict Rules ->No work-life balance, with rigid office hours and break times. ->Even if you are just a few minutes late, you get a warning email. 2- Bad Management & No Support ->Sales head lacks knowledge and leadership skills but blames the team for everything. ->No proper training or processes, yet employees are expected to deliver results. ->Senior management has an attitude problem and treats juniors poorly. 3- Unethical & Suspicious Business Practices ->The company is not a true marketing agency—they mostly sell $99 SEO services, which is their main business. ->Something shady and possibly illegal is happening behind the scenes. 4- HR is Unhelpful & Disrespectful ->HR treats the sales team badly and does not support employees. ->Instead of helping, they belittle and pressure employees. 5-No Career Growth & High Employee Turnover ->The company pushes employees out instead of helping them grow. ->I was put on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) in just 1.5 months, with no fair chance to improve. Final Advice: If you want a healthy, professional, and growth-friendly workplace, avoid Markup Designs. It is not a good place to build your career.

Pros

The company offers a highly supportive environment for business development professionals. Leadership encourages new ideas and gives you the freedom to experiment with strategies that drive real impact. Learning opportunities are immense—whether it’s handling international clients, improving negotiation skills, or planning long-term revenue strategies. The work culture is collaborative, with approachable management and teammates who genuinely want to see you succeed. Performance is recognized and rewarded. Targets are realistic, and achievements are appreciated through incentives and growth opportunities. Work-life balance is fairly managed, with flexible scheduling options when required.

Cons

More structured sales tools or automation could improve efficiency and reduce manual workload.
