WORST COMPANY EVER - Anonymous Markovate Employee Review

This is the worst ever company someone could ever work in. They are only concerned about making money and looting the US and Canadian clients. None of their customers is of Indian origin, because they don't even have the courtesy to face them, they do know they would be exposed. They are generating huge revenue from these clients but they are least bothered about their employees. I won't even call it a proper company. It's just a couple trying to make a source of income so that they live their lives happily. People join for role 'X', they get role, 'Y' after joining the company and then get depressed because of the extreme pressure these guys put on them. And if they want to remove the employee, they will just come up with any silly senseless excuse and terminate the employee. For instance, there was an issue with the payment gateway for one of the clients. It was an issue in their API which was highlighted and also given a temporary work around and then the issue was fixed as well within two days. But these guys made an opportunity out of this to fire a serious hardworking employee. The HR Manager sends out an email to this employee stating you are fired because you had blocked the payment gateway, HAHA. Irony is, that employee was neither working on that project nor he had access to anything related to that project. The same employee was having some medical issues. He was not keeping well and had asked for rest for few days. These family members running the business, then sent him the email stating, YOUR PERFORMANCE IS BELOW PAR, YOU HAVE BLOCKED THE PAYMENT GATEWAY AND VILOATED THE COMPANY'S TERMS AND CONDITIONS, HENCE YOU ARE TERMINATED WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT. They also had hired someone in the past for a managerial position. He joined, he settled in well, but then he was asked to work for 15-16 hours a day with a senseless ask stating you are a part of core team, you are taking heavy salary (which was even below industry standards), hence you would have to work. When he decided to move on, he wasn't even given his salary and then the founders did so many games with him to be released. The situations here are highly alarming and concerning. Barely a team of 20 people, but they are so arrogant and feel like they are owners of a 50k+ employee company. Highly ridiculous firm. NEVER EVER JOIN THIS PLACE.
