      Pros

      Very relaxed atmosphere, everyone is very nice. Management is very understanding and accommodating. Stress-free job. Welcomes people of all abilities.

      Cons

      Tiring because you have to be on your feet. Sometimes annoying because of lifting, setting up of tables and chairs. Clean up in the kids area can also be tiring.

      Same schedule holiday as school system. Laid back environment.

      Part-time position; not bad for an employee in the community.

      Pros

      The staff at the branch level are fantastic. Lots of wonderful employees with interesting backgrounds and work experiences. Each branch has its own unique team of people and communities. Hourly pay rate is pretty good, and branch librarians and managers are good. Great work/life balance, with recognition of mental health issues.

      Cons

      CEO is fairly absent at the branch level. Communication disconnect between the senior management and branch-level employees. Very little room for advancement, and very few full-time positions.
