Pros
As one of the original team members I have witnessed and been a part of this constantly evolving company who is always looking to do more for its clients and to educate every team member on the ever changing marketing landscape. No matter at what level you start at, you are constantly encouraged to innovate, to read, to contribute your ideas on how things can be done differently, more efficiently or things that are not being done at all. The founder of Marketsmith is an amazing, multi-faceted woman who does not stop thinking, always coming up with ideas on a wide variety of topics (and she thinks she can sing too). If you get to know her, you’ll also find out that she has a huge heart. As someone who always wants to learn and work on different tasks/projects, Marketsmith has fulfilled that wish for me and allowed me to grow as a marketing professional like no other company can.
Cons
But Marketsmith is not for everyone. If you can’t handle deadlines (sometimes tight ones), if you’re not willing to put in the time to learn, if you’re not a team player, if you expect everything to be handed to your in a pretty little package without you putting in the effort, if you’re not into improving yourself or making a difference at your place of work, then Marketsmith is not the place for you.
