Pros

•great vibe and atmosphere in the morning that gets you pumped for the day •good office environment •the opportunity to progress •weekly crew nights which are a really good idea •opportunities for networking with people in the industry which is really helpful •The main manager (MarketmeT) is great and very supportive

Cons

•they sell you a “dream” to manipulate you into working for them •you basically work for nothing •there’s a chance you can earn 0 a week. Whereas in other sales jobs you do get a minimum wage, not just commission. •management isn’t supportive in the slightest when it comes to life outside of work that could be impacting you in work •low support, very tough love •most of the staff leave. I witnessed 7 people leaving/planning to leave within one month as of the attitude from the boss and the long hours of earning nothing •main care is about you earning them money and that’s that •the other manager could work on maintaining a good attitude when it comes to how he makes staff feel and then they wouldn’t lose their staff. I was made to feel really small and was rarely given any positive feedback and was rarely told I was doing well even when I had really good sale days. •hard to maintain a work/life balance when you’re in the office for 7:30am and don’t get home until minimum 7pm working 6 days a week • they brainwash you into believing in the programme when there’s only ever one person that high rolls. •not efficient and on time when it comes to payslips. Some members of staff didn’t get paid for their sales after they left. It is the money they have earned so they should get this money if the sale passes

We are proud of our positive office atmosphere, and the support we give to our people. We're also glad that you recognised the amazing opportunity for progression that a career with us represents. We do have varying roles within the company, some of which do involve commission-based sales. However, none of our people earn 0 a week, as you stated. If someone was that unable to do the job, they would not be here for very long. Any comission-based roles are sales roles, and it wouldn't be unfair to say that a salesperson who cannot make one sale in a week, would not last long in a sales job. We can't speak to the efficiency of paying people without any specific examples. In the majority of cases, people will be paid for every single sale they make. The only sales that a person may not receive are in the case of fraud being detected on a sale. Again, that is something we would deal with directly if that issue arose. You can have a good laugh with the guys there, the owner is very friendly and easy to talk to .

Cons

Working there is tough, theres no base rate of pay. You will more often than not be broke and leave the job woth less money than you started with. They sell an idea which is unrealistic and brainwash you to you believe certain things that arent true. The reason why the owner is so friendly is so he can gain your trust and manipulate you. It is a very deceitful job, the company that the employees represent are great but it is mis-sold massively. We are also taught that theres a certain way to bring people into the company and during that period of going to shopping centres and set up the stand you have to hide a lot of information from them. Most of the people that already work there are really broke and management pick 1 person and make them a 'highroller' to show how successful you can be. If you are thinking about going for this job or have newly started get out as soon as possible and if you alert management about this post they will say im a bitter former employee that is trying to 'nag' you out.

I have only started working here about 2 weeks ago but I really like my job! The managers and all the staff are really lovely, on my first few days they made me feel really comfortable and at home and everyone was happy to help me as I was learning. I also love the job itself as I get to speak to people a lot and also learn about business, recruitment, training and PR - I really want a career in recruitment and I love the fact that there are chances for progression in this Another pro is the weekly team activity - it really helped me get to know everyone a bit better

Cons

There is a lot of competition as a lot of the guys have a strong background in marketing and sales so you have to work hard to stand out
