Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you experienced the collaborative and supportive culture that defines our firm. Our team takes pride in working together to meet client and case demands. We also understand your concern about billing expectations. In a client-focused practice, maintaining both a high level of service and productivity is essential to delivering value, but we recognize the importance of balance and professional growth as well. The firm has experienced unprecedented growth over the past five years, which has naturally increased workload and billing demands. In response, we’ve implemented a structured mentorship program to strengthen communication and provide performance feedback. Additionally, our recent salary increase program for new associates and our ongoing review of compensation are aimed at ensuring fairness and competitiveness as we continue to expand. We appreciate your insights and welcome further discussion, please feel free to reach out to Julia Lee directly if you’d like to share more about your experience. Jlee@margolisedelstein.com

Pros

There are opportunities to speak directly with partners and ask questions. Guidance and mentorship are also provided, but only if you specifically seek it out. There are also great bonus incentives.

Cons

There is not a lot of work-life balance and the partners can be very demanding. It sometimes feels like partners have forgotton what it was like to be an associate, and expect a newer attorney to work as if they have been in the field for 30+ years.
