Not for everyone, job can be fast-paced and stressful

Serving an old school industry that's ripe for technology disruption. The culture is chill/casual but competitive and favors those who deliver results and are technology savvy. Great salary and benefits and lots of perks of a larger company but it's a start-up — the company has mature leadership with reasonable expectations and is not a sweatshop. The CEO is an industry veteran and a visionary, people are treated fairly and senior management is transparent. The business model will take some time to evolve but also there are no greedy outside investors looking for a quick flip/return. Persistence and execution will win here, and there's huge upside potential in the long run.

This place is not for you if you are not willing to learn some of the in's/out's of the protein trading industry and embrace technology to facilitate the sales process. It's also not for "B players" who unwill or unable to work both smart & hard, embrace competitive challenges and grind through the ups & downs of a start-up.
