Worst dept heads To save money they have hired cheap cost employees to run the departments for them. Those low cost HODs choose incompetent people at the lower level who can in turn listen to them and not be a threat for them. But the level immediately below the heads they require from top reputed companies & b-schools so that they can get ideas & strategies from them which they present to the owners of the company as if those are their own ideas n take credit. Obviously because of this, friction arises and these talented recruits leave in a year or so. And the cycle repeats. I have seen 4-5 top performing employees. This happens in HR and marketing primarily. I was in marketing. HR will not tell u the hidden incentive structure during the interview which is not an employee friendly one anyway - designed to deprive u of money when u leave. I lost almost 2 lakhs of my variable pay. The policies set are only in company's favor and not employees. Rest all they do is just perception management with the owners & pure politics to cover up their shortcomings and retain their job.
