Business outlook
Pros
- great staff, and you build strong relationships with the people you work with - a more homey environment - one-on-one interactions with the youth you mentor
Cons
- Emotionally draining - VERY low pay - long shifts with little flexibility if you're looking at this job as a current student, know that if you need to find coverage for shifts or need to take time off, it is very hard to do so. That might put a big damper on college life and the time needed to study for classes.
