Pros

If you’re good at office politics and forming personal relationships with management, you can climb the ladder quickly. It’s easy to create the illusion of competence and get promoted because no one from the management team has any idea or actual knowledge about what they’re doing.

Cons

Extremely toxic and abusive work environment with frequent shouting and cursing. There is no respect for employees, nor any real investment in their development. Sexist attitude, where women are often overlooked, belittled, or not given equal opportunities or salaries. Salaries are low, and overtime, weekend meetings, and work-related travel are all unpaid. The labor inspection authority has already issued penalties against the company for unpaid overtime, yet nothing changes. The company relies on public funding to run mediocre innovation programs while constantly losing private-sector clients and employees every six months, yet refuses to acknowledge any issues and instead blames them on bottom-level employees. The CEO and management team are only focused on making money rather than running the company properly or putting any real effort into sustainable growth. If they suspect you're looking for jobs elsewhere, they will have people from their network approach you with fake work opportunities and then ghost you afterward. If and when you leave the company, expect them to talk badly about you, claiming you did nothing and were useless. There’s even a chance they might try to blackmail you for revenge. If you value fair treatment, actual professional development, and a healthy workplace culture, look elsewhere.

Pros

All projects are at most cases identical to each other, so you will probably be doing the same tasks over and over on different projects, so your only actual problem will be time management. If you get the hang of it and after you notice that most people expected to guide you have little idea on how to do their job, you will relax and take your time. Noone will bother you unless it's 2 days after deadline.

Cons

Since all managers and the CEO focus on meetings rather than actual work, be ready to receive minimal support and/or guidance, meaning you will learn as you go, while they expect that you instantly deliver, even without any real onboarding. Most probably, because there is zero understanding of basic PM principles, you will be asked and tasked to deliver on extra projects you have no idea about, while being yelled at like you're the one paid to manage. Also, the total lack of time management skills will definitely be a burden, because they forget to monitor deadlines, but expect you to deliver tasks, no matter how big or small, in the last minute and in the best shape. Salary-wise not only is pay significantly below market-average but it will definitely not correspond to the quantity and variety of tasks assigned, givent the fact that there is a definite lack of interest and/or negligence on employee growth, career path provision etc. All in all, if you want to get your first 6-month or 1-year experience, you can possibly consider this company, but expect to come across a toxic and heavily disorganized environment where doing more for less is viewed as normal.
