Pros
Manson is a solid company. They take care of their people and pay competitively for the industry they are in. The are professional, safe, and ethical. Their staff is diverse. The morale is mostly great.
Cons
Ironically, the only con I have working with Manson is working alongside the type of people who posted the list of cons on this website. It's frustrating reading feedback from kids right out of college that have not worked with other companies in this industry. To work here and expect it to be as progressive as a Fortune 500 Company is laughable. Manson is not Google. It is a medium sized, 110 year old construction company with growing pains. They are actually very progressive considering their industry; probably the most progressive dredging company in the US. The"overtime" comments are also humorous. If you have issues working more than 8 hours, I highly recommend staying away from the construction industry entirely. You either love marine construction and dredging or you don't. I rarely find people in the middle. Think hard about this before applying here.
