Pros

Great pay and benefits. 6 weeks paid vacation 3 month family leave Amazing people

Cons

First off, it’s hilarious, reading all of the reviews within a month of each other in 2022. I’m glad the same two people decided to write more than one review complaining constantly just like they did when they worked with us. What I love about this organization is that they move along people who are not team players or are ineffective and don’t respond to professional growth opportunities. These two individuals thought the work we do with centered around them and when anyone disagreed, they claimed they weren’t being heard. Congratulations you got your revenge by posting an online review! Now an actual con from not a narcissist, the work can be really challenging and if there is turnover, the team has to take over while a new person is hired. But, I love the challenge for a great cause.

Pros

-Heartfelt work culture based on care for one another and the wonderful students! -Transparent, encouraging, and approachable upper management. -Reasonable pay and perks for an entry level part-time position. -Holistic approach to student and staff development and wellbeing. -Potential to go on fun trips with the students such as hiking, ice cream, bike rides, and most other activities you can think of!

Cons

-It is easy to "pretend" to work on your laptop, and no one calls you out for it. Substitute Community Engagement Coaches don't have much required work, so you need to figure out how to keep busy. -There is less socioeconomic diversity than many other human service positions because Mansfield Hall is an expensive privately funded program.
