Pros

The fuel industry is not for the faint of heart—it’s fast-moving, margin-sensitive, and constantly influenced by market volatility, logistics complexity, and customer demand. What has kept me engaged over the long term is the constant problem-solving and the need to stay sharp. No two days are ever the same, and that makes the work both demanding and rewarding. One of the strongest parts of Mansfield is the people. Over the years, it has truly felt like a work family. There is a shared sense of accountability and support, especially when things get difficult or when the market gets unpredictable. That culture has made a big difference in sustaining a long career in such a competitive industry. Just as meaningful has been the relationships built with customers. Many of those partnerships have evolved over time into long-term, trusted relationships. Being able to help customers navigate fuel supply challenges, optimize their operations, and stay resilient during market swings has been one of the most fulfilling parts of the job.

Cons

Like any company of its size and complexity, there are always areas that can be improved—process alignment and internal coordination can sometimes be challenging—but overall, the experience has been positive and professionally rewarding

Pros

I've been with Mansfield Oil for two years now, and it's been a genuinely great experience. I started as a Credit Analyst, working across multiple business segments, and recently transitioned internally into a Staff Accountant role on the Tax team. The fact that I was able to make that kind of move — from credit into tax — speaks to how much Mansfield invests in developing its people rather than boxing them into one lane. Pros: Real opportunities for internal mobility and career growth — my transition to Tax was supported every step of the way Collaborative culture where people are genuinely willing to help you learn new areas of the business Leadership that recognizes and celebrates employees (the company puts real effort into events like our Employee Appreciation celebrations) Exposure to a wide variety of work, which has been great for building a well-rounded skill set A workplace that respects work-life balance and family commitments

Cons

Like any company going through growth, there can be a learning curve when moving into a new department, but the resources are there if you seek them out
