Pros

Very small company if that's what you like, decent benefits, good location.

Cons

The president/owner micromanages to a severe fault. There is no real feedback or training given. There is also no established method nor does there appear a promise to be one. It seems the owner does not know what tools he needs to grow and develop a good team. He also does not seen to understand his business but will not trust his team to help.

Pros

Small team with good agile process. Fairly flexible on schedules and have accommodated doctors appointments and such. Not as much bureaucracy and micro managing as I've experienced at other agencies.

Cons

There is a diverse range of projects and clients -- and they don't focus on any one industry--so you have to learn about a number of different clients/businesses. Don't do any print or graphic design work - strictly digital.

Pros

The flexibility is awesome! If you need to leave early, there's never any issue. As long as you meet deadlines, you are allowed a lot of freedom. They take very good care of their employees; it's a family atmosphere. Whether it's as small as someone bringing in a homemade cake for your birthday, or as large as the company paying for 100% of your healthcare, I really felt like a part of a family there. It's a small company, so there's no red tape, and your voice never goes unheard. We all reported to the same boss, who makes all of the decisions, and he's willing to listen to input and constructive criticism. There's a lot of room for personal growth there. It's not a place you go if you just want to collect a pay check; you can't hide there. Some people may not like this, but it's tremendous for developing skills. It's much easier to foster personal growth in an environment in which everyone is very important to the company's bottom line, and very accountable.

Cons

It's a small company. As a result, there's not a clear pathway to progress in stature within the company, but if you do well you will be rewarded and given lots of responsibility.
