Pros

Very nice, hardworking employees Decent pay for new hires with opportunities to make extra with additional work such as after hours and weekend support Various networking/social events/volunteer events throughout the year Modern looking offices Multicultural office culture Great “starting” company to get your feet wet in software and supply chain Great experience with Big box retailer

Cons

-Senior management is completely disconnected from the company These people sit literally 10 feet from you, yet make zero effort to get to know your or even converse with you in anyway other than a condescending email from time to time. Expect to walk past them on a daily basis, say “Hey”, and not be acknowledged in any way. Most managers will mandate that they be cc’ed on all emails but then act like they have no clue what is going on when discussing questions/concerns brought up in emails. Expect to spend hours of your week wasting time drafting up summary emails and printing out reports for your management (reminder that they sit 10 feet away) and then be questioned about your admin time entries for that week at a later date Will say “yes” to anything that generates revenue. Teams are forced to move forward with very poor designs that are VERY invasive to clients systems simply because their estimates were high which translates into more revenue for the company. -Some of the sickest employees you will ever work with I can not remember a week going by where I did not get at least two emails from a team member (team is less than 10 people) informing the team that they were either out sick for the whole day, working from home due to being sick, or taking a half day because of being sick(sadly very true). It is very difficult to complete your tasks and provide clients with updates when your work is contingent on assistance from team members that are suffering from undiagnosed, chronic illnesses. -Promotions are based on tenure rather than performance You can have a flawless performance evaluation yet still not be promoted for 2-4 years. Also, pay attention to your annual merit increases as the majority of the increase will be on the “potential” bonus which you will most likely never see due to the companies poor performance over the past couple of years. There are senior level managers here that have literally been promoted after having a track record of at least 10 employees complaining about them to HR and leaving their teams due to their micromanagement leadership styles that some would call borderline harassment in the workplace (true story)! Senior management are very young so don’t expect to move up anytime soon. --Required to work multiple After Hours Support shifts that aren't discussed during interviewing Beware, if you join CSO then there will be multiple required lines of after hours support throughout the year that will ruin your evenings and weekends. You will be required (sometimes forced last minute) to support multiple times throughout the year during your evenings (5-8:30) without any additional pay. You will also be asked multiple times to be an on-call resource where you will have to be available 24/7 for an entire week for any critical issue that surfaces from any of their clients worldwide. Be sure to ask about this during interviewing

Pros

Fun environment with loving peers and colleagues. Great job for college grads to learn a lot quickly.

Cons

- little to no growth, even when the bar keeps setting higher and higher. - Very Poor Management and Directs - Top-heavy company - Voice isnt heard from management or directs. - No clear instructions on tasks. - Before one project is done, another is stacked on top, juggling another task to complete.
