I worked as an independent contractor with Manatee since June 2021 and came on board full-time in April of 2022 as the Director of Parent Coaching. Manatee, in my opinion, should be the model for companies big and small when it comes to offering quality services and also creating a healthy and productive work environment. Manatee's cutting-edge use of remote technology allows therapists and parent coaches to serve families across the country while maintaining a necessary personal touch that allows children, moms and dads to feel connected and supported while working with their providers. Most notable is the genuine care, concern and connection demonstrated by the leaders of the company. Manatee requires its employees to place their highest priority on family and self-care; this model allows all of us to show up to work emotionally sound and ready to give our families optimal care
Cons
Manatee is a completely remote company, with providers that work all over the country. It is a bummer that we never get to enjoy a cup of coffee, lunch or a little happy hour with colleagues in person
