If you look up the word, "micromanagement," you will see his face. I agree with the other reviewers that the Managing Partner who oversees the entire recruitment and sales team has got to be the worst person I've ever worked for. He will time you. He will check what you've been doing between calls. He will check how many times you've gone to the bathroom and for how long. The employees here are treated like robots. You are constantly reminded you are replaceable if you don't do what they say. I've actually heard the Managing Partner say, "I hate the word 'try.' Just do it." The HR dept will do nothing about it because they're all scared to manage up to him.
The management cares only about quantity over quality. They don't care if you had a meaningful conversation with a prospect. If they can't make the company money NOW, they will reprimand you for "wasting time." Sales and recruiting are about building relationships. This company clearly doesn't understand how that works.
They don't care about your professional growth. They will only promote you only if you make enough money for them. That might make sense in a business sense, but they don't give you the right tools and resources to help you get there. Why? Because you're spending 5-6 hours a day on the phone selling and recruiting. There's no time to develop your skills.
It was physically and emotionally draining for me to get up in the morning to work for a company I truly despised. The day I left was one of the happiest days of my life.
