Business domain and tech complexity. Some problems are interesting to solve, provided you’re not in a team that does operations all day long, literally.
Cons
There are some shady leaders in engineering watching out for their own skin at the expense of others and distorting the true nature of issues, just to fall on their feet in front of the infamous current CEO, who in turn will publicly shame whoever he deems responsible. Perpetual problems with the platform thrown into the product and engineering areas, because someone else is always to blame. Weasel activities going on in top management, pip-ing without any foundation, pressuring, while playing a lousy political game.
