They overwork their freelancers and expect them to create a lot of work in an unrealistic amount of time. They have absolutely no appreciation of the people that work for them, they also paid me and other freelancers late more than once including the producer on my project! I have worked for many different agencies and studios in my career and have had no issues with any other companies I've worked for, however Makematic was definitely the worst - avoid them!

The team is friendly and easy to work with, creating a welcoming and supportive work environment. The animation work is fairly straightforward, making it a good fit for those who prefer a more structured and predictable workflow. Additionally, the company maintains a good work-life balance, with no excessive overtime or long hours, which is a rare and appreciated aspect of the industry.

The producers lack proper training and industry knowledge, which often leads to poor decision-making. Their inexperience results in mismanaged projects, unclear communication, and inefficiencies that impact both the workflow and the final product.
